Heijmerink Wagemaker's designer studio designed this light fixture for the ceiling of the Schiphol Plaza. The desire was to fill in the ceiling in a decorative way with a large fixture (with a diameter of 5 meters) and to be able to determine the atmosphere per season by means of colour changes.
Solution
By using liniLED® RGB LED strips, this fixture has become a beautiful concept. Each ceiling fixture contains 28 meters of liniLED® RGB and a liniLED ® RGB Controller. Custom DMX control cabinets have been developed, with 5 pre-sets and the colour settings the client desired. A total of 22 ceiling fixtures were installed containing over 600 meters of liniLED® RGB LED strips.
